Who we are

Sellers
When you list a property we collect your name, email, phone, the property details and photos, and your IP address (to prevent abuse). The property details, photos, town, postcode area and your first name are published. Your email and phone are not published unless you choose to show your phone. We use your details to run the listing, forward enquiries, and email you about the listing. Basis: contract (running the listing you asked for) and legitimate interests (preventing fraud). Listings and photos are kept while live and for 12 months after, then deleted.
Buyers who register a match
We collect your name, email, phone (optional), what you are looking for and your buying position. We use it to email you matching listings and, with your consent, occasional updates. If you tell us you need a mortgage and consent, we may pass your name and contact details to one FCA-authorised mortgage broker so they can contact you; we may receive a fee. Basis: consent, withdrawable any time via the link in every email. Kept until you stop alerts, or 12 months after your last click.
Enquiries
When you contact a seller we pass your name, email, phone, message and buying position to that seller, and keep a copy for 12 months so we can deal with disputes and abuse. If you say you need a mortgage we may contact you about a broker introduction.
Who else sees data
Our hosting and email providers, and any CRM we use to manage introductions, process data on our behalf. We use postcodes.io to turn postcodes into map positions (the postcode only). We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk. Sellers can remove a listing at any time from the manage link.
